Russia attacked Odessa with Iskander-K missiles

In the morning of June 24, occupiers attacked Odessa with Iskander-K cruise missiles. As a result of the attack, there are casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure reported.

Explosions in Odessa occurred around 8 AM. Oleg Kiper, the head of Odesa Regional State Administration, reported that the Russian attack resulted in hits on civilian infrastructure, and firefighting operations are underway to extinguish fires. Medical assistance is being provided to the injured.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the attack damaged warehouses of a retail chain, residential buildings, and vehicles.

Rescue workers reported that warehouses covering an area of 3000 square meters caught fire. Over 90 firefighters and around 20 units of emergency vehicles from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) were involved in extinguishing the fire, despite the threat of further shelling. A firefighting train from Ukrzaliznytsia was also mobilized. Currently, four people are known to be injured: a 19-year-old young man, and three men aged 50, 58, and 48, with injuries of moderate severity.

Odessa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov also confirmed that there were no fatalities as a result of the morning attack on civilian infrastructure.

Additionally, 46 individuals received psychological support from State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the National Police.
