Russian aviation has begun to use Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles more often can be regarded as a "convulsion" of the occupiers.

This opinion was expressed by the military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko.

“I was afraid of using the Kh-47M2 on Independence Day, because they could strike at Ukraine as part of the large-scale terror, but then they still used the Kh-22. As for the Kinzhals, the Russians had less than 40 units as of the beginning of September. Missiles are not currently produced in Russia due to the lack of a number of components of foreign origin," the expert noted.

"These missiles have the highest percentage of the probability of breaking through our air defense, and their interception is extremely problematic. In addition, due to its rare use, countermeasure algorithms have not been developed. On the other hand, their use can also be regarded as a convulsion of the invaders," Kovalenko added.

In his opinion, the Russians are using the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal to break through the Ukrainian air defense and, with a high probability, hit the target that is planned.

"But how rational is it to use such a scarce and unique missile, if only … According to reports, now in the Black Sea there are carriers of Caliber cruise missiles with a total salvo of 28 missiles. This total salvo is quite enough to break through our air defense system and strike at the intended targets. But they hit not with Kalibr, but with Kinzhal, which are worth their weight in gold. That is, there is no total salvo of 28 missiles. There is no total launch of Kh-22 of 20 units. There is no total firing of 30 missiles P-800 "Onyx". And what is, with a minimum probability, will break through the air defense, and with a much greater probability, it will not achieve its goal," Kovalenko explained.

"Let's put it this way, of course, there is not much pleasant because the Kinzhal fulfills the assigned tasks, but this is for now. As long as the occupiers still have them, or until our air defense completes the development of countermeasure algorithms. In any case, the occupiers' future is seen in extremely gloomy tones if they decide to start spending their most valuable rocket," the expert concluded.

Earlier, Kovalenko said that soon the Armed Forces of Ukraine would be able to learn how to intercept Russian Kh-47M Kinzhal missiles, which are named the most dangerous.
