On the morning of January 24, Russian military forces deployed a missile carrier ship equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles into the Black Sea. The vessel is capable of launching up to four missiles simultaneously toward Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian Naval Forces, two military ships have been deployed to the Black Sea, with one carrying Kalibr missiles. The total salvo capacity is 4 missiles.
Meanwhile, no Russian vessels are present in the Sea of Azov today.
In the Mediterranean Sea, 6 Russian ships have been deployed, two of which are also equipped with Kalibr missiles, capable of launching up to 22 missiles in total.
Additionally, Ukrainian military sources reported that within the past 24 hours, Russia has sent the following vessels through the Kerch Strait:
- 3 ships toward the Black Sea, with one continuing toward the Bosporus Strait.
- 3 ships toward the Sea of Azov, two of which moved from the Bosporus Strait.
The Ukrainian Navy also noted that Russia continues to violate the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) by disabling Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) on its vessels.
