In the early hours of October 31, the Russian Federation launched another assault on Ukraine, deploying 43 drones and 12 missiles. According to Ukraine’s Air Force on their Telegram channel, the Russians targeted the bridge over the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi estuary in Zatoka, Odessa region. Additionally, the enemy fired:

- Eight guided X-59/69 missiles from tactical aircraft over the Black Sea.
Two ballistic Iskander-M/KN-23 missiles were also launched from Russia's Rostov region toward Kramatorsk, and 43 Shahed-type and other unidentified drones were launched from Kursk and Oryol.
The response involved anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Air and Defense Forces. Air defense was active across Odessa, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, and other regions.
As of 8:00 a.m., it was confirmed that:
- Two X-59/69 guided missiles were shot down in Odessa,
- 17 drones were intercepted.
"Twenty-three drones lost location tracking, and three others exited Ukrainian airspace towards Russia and occupied territories," added the Air Force, noting that updates are ongoing.
Since the onset of large-scale Russian aggression, daily attacks on Ukrainian cities and villages have posed a constant threat, leading to substantial destruction. The Russian military uses various types of weaponry, including missiles, guided aerial bombs, and kamikaze drones, some of Iranian origin. Recently, the frequency of nighttime drone attacks has notably increased.
