This week, Russia launched over 1,600 attack drones, around 1,200 guided aerial bombs, and nearly 70 missiles of various types at Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky reported on Facebook.

“Almost every day and night, our emergency services respond to the aftermath of Russian strikes on peaceful Ukrainian cities and communities. Just this week alone, over 1,600 attack drones, about 1,200 guided aerial bombs, and nearly 70 missiles of various types were launched by Russia against Ukraine,” Zelensky said.

The main targets of these strikes are infrastructure supporting everyday life.

“There was also an attack today: over 240 drones and five ballistic missiles, causing damage in seven regions. Unfortunately, there are fatalities in Sloviansk and Chernihiv. My condolences to their families and loved ones,” he added.

According to Zelensky, work continues with partners to strengthen Ukraine’s defense in response to these attacks.

“The priority is clear – more air defense systems and missiles, more support for our defenders. Every agreement must be implemented faster. Thanks to everyone working to support Ukraine,” he emphasized.
