Russian drone attack hits Sumy: one injured, parts of city left without power

As a result of the Russian drone attack on Sumy, one person was injured, and part of the city is without power.

This was reported by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, on Facebook.

“This morning Sumy was attacked by Russian UAVs. There were hits on industrial facilities, power lines were damaged. Fires broke out as a result of the strikes,” he wrote.

According to the official, one injured person is known preliminarily. Part of the regional center is without electricity.

“Emergency recovery work is ongoing. All necessary services are working on site,” Hryhorov added.

Acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, reported that the Russian forces attacked two enterprises with strike UAVs of the Shahed type.

“One of the sites recorded 5 hits, the other — 2,” he specified.
