Russian forces struck two districts of Kharkiv in the morning of April 30, killing at least two people and injuring six.
This was reported by Oleg Synyehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, on Telegram.
"The occupiers struck the Holodnohirsky and Kyivsky districts of Kharkiv. Hits on civilian infrastructure were recorded near the park area. The number of casualties is being clarified," he wrote.
In a subsequent post, the head of the administration specified that the strike was carried out with aviation bombs.
"According to preliminary information, the Russian forces struck Kharkiv with aircraft bombs. There is information about one fatality, as well as injuries. The number is being established," he noted.
Later, Synyehubov reported that at least two people were killed and six others were injured.
"According to preliminary information, as a result of strikes on Kharkiv, two people were killed, and six others were injured," the post said.
According to the mayor of Kharkiv, Igor Terekhov, the strike targeted civilian objects. In the Kyivsky district, as the day before, the strike hit residential buildings.
