Russian forces plan to conscript 15 thousand people into the Russian Armed Forces in Crimea.
This was announced by the Crimean Tatar Resource Center.
"We have preliminary insider information that from April 20, they may announce or intensify partial mobilization. We will monitor this process. As we were informed in advance, it will depend on how the conscription process goes. Why such a connection? Perhaps it is related to how much they can use the planned conscription to offer people contracts and further use them in the war against Ukraine," said the Chairman of the Board of CTRC, Head of the Department of External Relations and Human Rights Activities of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People, Eskender Bariev.
According to him, as part of the new conscription campaign in occupied Crimea, the Russian authorities plan to call up about 15 thousand residents of the peninsula into the Russian armed forces.

Bariev also noted that the occupiers will issue summonses to attendees of "courts" over Crimean activists.
"For example, Crimean Tatar activist Ali Seytablayev was handed a summons in occupied Crimea when he came to the 'court' building to support Lenur Yakubov. That is, here is an example of activists who come to support political prisoners being attempted to be summoned to come to the military commissariat. Thus, people are intimidated so that they do not actively participate in public events," Bariev added.
