In Moldova, two young individuals have been detained on suspicion of vandalism and organizing destabilizing activities.

According to Newsmaker, on the night of September 27, the perpetrators sprayed paint on the buildings of the Ministry of Labor and the government.

Police arrested two suspects, aged 21 and 20. One of them revealed that he was responsible for recruiting young people to receive instructions in Moscow on destabilizing the situation during protests.

During questioning at the police station, the detainees stated that they were part of a group of 20 young individuals hired for vandalism against government institutions in Moldova to create instability. They claimed they were paid 5,000 euros for their vandalism at the government building.

One suspect also indicated that he was responsible for finding young recruits for further instruction in Moscow regarding planned actions in Moldova, for which they were paid 500 euros per month.

According to the police, all 20 individuals traveled to Moscow by plane, with a layover in Istanbul, where they were met by a Russian national who accommodated them in a hotel. The next day, they received training at a facility near Moscow on how to organize protests in Chișinău, destabilize situations during these actions, and protect provocateurs. They were also provided with money and phones for communication.

Later, with a layover in Antalya, they returned to Moldova, purchased paint, gloves, sneakers, and bags, and after committing acts of vandalism, they posted videos of their actions on Telegram as proof of their work.

The police have already identified 13 of the 20 individuals who went to training in Moscow, including a 26-year-old man responsible for recruiting young people for the trip to Russia.
