The Russian forces attacked Kryvyi Rih with missiles and UAVs. As a result of strikes on residential areas, 17 people were injured.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
“Last night, our city was subjected to a combined missile and drone attack. Two Iskander-M missiles hit a residential area. As of now, 17 people have been injured in the enemy shelling. Among them are three children and eight women,” he wrote.

Vilkul added that 15 of the wounded are currently hospitalized. One man is in serious condition, another is in critical condition. The others are in moderate condition. Doctors are providing all necessary medical care and are fighting for their lives. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing, with emergency services and municipal workers on site.
According to current information, 29 apartment buildings have been damaged. Vilkul noted that about ten buildings sustained very severe damage, and one building was virtually destroyed. Up to ten business facilities and multiple vehicles were also damaged. In addition to residential buildings, an infrastructure facility was hit.

“As of now, 115,823 subscribers are without electricity. Half an hour ago the number was 161,000, but 45,177 have been switched to alternative lines. As for water supply, half of the city is operating on generators; the system is being maintained, but water pressure will be lower. Four large boiler plants are without power, affecting about 1,400 buildings. The Southern Mining and Processing Plant boiler house is operating, and by morning we plan to restore heating to all 335 buildings,” he added.
A city assistance headquarters has been set up, and all necessary construction materials have been delivered. Applications for financial assistance from the city are also being accepted, with 16 applications already submitted. The headquarters will operate throughout the night and tomorrow as well. Vilkul emphasized that the situation remains difficult.

“The number of casualties has risen to 23 people, including 6 children. As a result of the missile strike, 29 apartment buildings, 21 vehicles, and an administrative building were damaged. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service are working at the scene,” stated the post by the press service of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service on Telegram.
