A JYSK store in Kyiv's Pochaina district was destroyed in a Russian attack on Thursday, with no casualties reported, according to Yevhen Ivanytsia, Country Director of JYSK Ukraine.

"Unfortunately, another JYSK store, located in Pochaina, was destroyed this morning during a massive Russian missile attack on Kyiv. The store was completely gutted by fire," he wrote on LinkedIn.

According to Ivanytsia, the good news is that neither employees nor customers were injured.

"All customer orders will be delivered. All employees will retain their jobs and continue working at other stores in the chain. We are continuing to expand: today we will sign one new lease agreement, and tomorrow another," Ivanytsia emphasised.

The Russian attack on Kyiv overnight into Thursday also damaged an Epicentr hypermarket and the Pochaina Retail Park.

The premises of JYSK, Puma, Colin's and Nova Poshta, as well as the office of Nhood Ukraine, the retail park's management company, sustained the most significant damage.
