Russian forces launched a new wave of attacks across several Ukrainian regions over the past day, killing civilians, injuring dozens and damaging homes, infrastructure and educational facilities.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian troops carried out 756 strikes on 42 settlements, according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov. The attacks included 19 air strikes, more than 530 drone attacks — mostly FPV drones — as well as artillery and rocket fire. Three people were injured, while authorities recorded damage to homes, infrastructure, vehicles and farm buildings.
The Kherson region remained under heavy bombardment. Regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin said one person was killed and nine others injured during Russian drone, artillery and air strikes targeting dozens of settlements, including the city of Kherson. Residential buildings, a shop, a bus and private vehicles were damaged.
On Sunday morning, a separate Russian drone strike hit a public transport stop in Kherson’s Korabelnyi district, injuring a 60-year-old man. He suffered blast and shrapnel wounds to his leg and was hospitalized.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian forces attacked six districts using missiles, drones, artillery and guided bombs, injuring 26 people. Regional officials reported damage to homes, businesses, infrastructure, a gas station and agricultural facilities. Several victims were hospitalized in moderate condition, including elderly residents.


In the Sumy region, Russian drones struck the city of Hlukhiv overnight, causing fires in several buildings belonging to an educational institution. Emergency crews extinguished fires at three separate locations. No casualties were reported.
Russian attacks also hit the Chernihiv region, where two people were injured after homes and vehicles caught fire in the Korukivka district. Additional damage was reported in Chernihiv city and nearby communities, including residential buildings and a non-operational store.

In the Kirovohrad region, a Russian drone strike caused a fire at a private house in the Kropyvnytskyi district. Firefighters managed to contain the blaze, and no injuries were reported.
In the Khmelnytskyi region, Russian drones attacked industrial sites overnight, sparking fires at several enterprises. Regional governor Serhii Tiurin said air defence forces were active and confirmed that some drones were shot down. Emergency crews quickly extinguished the fires, and no casualties were reported.
In the Kharkiv region, Russian forces struck eight settlements, injuring one woman in the village of Shypuvate. A 63-year-old resident was wounded in shelling, while another man previously injured in a separate incident also received medical assistance. Authorities reported the use of multiple types of drones and guided bombs, with damage to homes, shops, administrative buildings, transport and energy infrastructure across several districts.
