Russian forces attacked Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region early on September 19, dropping 12 guided aviation bombs.

This information was reported by Andrii Kanashovych, head of the Kupiansk District Administration, during a television marathon.

"According to preliminary information, 12 guided aerial bombs (GABs) were dropped. As a result, there is significant damage to private housing," he said.

Kanashovych noted that at least 13 private houses were damaged, and there are casualties.

"Six people sustained various degrees of injury. They are currently hospitalized. This includes three women and three men. The youngest injured man is 50 years old, and the oldest injured woman is 85 years old," he added.

He stated that the Russian forces has not reduced the intensity of their shelling but has increased it. In particular, settlements along the Oskol River are under constant threat. He emphasized the need to strengthen evacuation efforts.

It is worth noting that fighting continues in two directions in the Kharkiv region—on the northern part of the region and around Kupiansk.

The Russians are constantly shelling settlements near the border and front line, with Kharkiv being under continuous attack.
