By such actions, the invaders are trying to achieve loyalty to themselves the pro-Ukrainian personnel of the station.

The Russian occupiers stepped up repressions against the workers of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

"Yesterday, December 8, the Russian military broke into the premises where the ZNPP Social Programs Department is located and in the presence of other workers, severely beat the head of the department, Alexey Trubenkov, and his deputy, Yuri Androsov. After a severe beating, the invaders took them out of the premises and took them to an unknown direction ", - stated the message of NNEGC "Energoatom" in Telegram.

In addition, the invaders detained and "threw to the basement" ZNPP shift supervisor Konstantin Beiner, a licensed person directly responsible for nuclear and radiation safety.

"By such actions, the occupiers are trying to achieve loyalty to themselves from the courageous pro-Ukrainian personnel of the plant, increase the number of transfers of workers to the fake Zaporizhzhia NPP Operating Organization, which is run by Rosatom, and report to Putin about the support of Ukrainian personnel for Russia's fascist terrorist actions," the energy company emphasizes. .

Energoatom once again appeals to IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi and the entire world community with an appeal to make every effort and take all possible measures to free ZNPP workers from the captivity of Russian terrorists.

The Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, one of the world's largest, generated 20% of Ukraine's electricity before the war started on Feb. 24.
