There is such a wonderful film "Voyage of the Damned" is a 1976 British drama film directed by Stuart Rosenberg. Several thousand wealthy European intellectuals and pacifists decide to leave Germany after Hitler's attack on Poland, the Anschluss of Austria and the appearance of concentration camps.

Throughout the film, intellectuals make a journey across the ocean, discuss politics, talk about literature and art, start love affairs with each other, plan where to invest their savings exported from Europe, quarrel, and make peace. They are convinced that they left Germany in time, that they are now safe, and ironically discuss those who remained, waiting and hoping for something else.

The passengers of the ship cannot be called anti-fascists since they are not fighters against the regime, they make racist and anti-Semitic statements and discuss the suffering of the inhabitants of the occupied countries and the victims of concentration camps only from a philosophical point of view. It's just that the war hurt their own interests, so they decided to find a quieter place. The end of this movie is quite sad.
