The Antimonopoly Committee has granted permission to the Saudi company FAS Energy to acquire four solar power plants in the Kyiv region. The regulator made the decision on Thursday, July 2.
“Permission has been granted to the commercial company ‘FAS Energy’ to acquire control over LLC ‘Borodianka Solar Power Plant’ […] LLC ‘Myhalkivka Solar Power Plant’ […] LLC ‘Solar Power Plant No. 8’ […] LLC ‘Solar Power Plant No. 11’ by directly acquiring shares in the authorized capital, which ensures more than 50% of voting rights in the company’s governing body,” the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) stated.
The ultimate beneficial owner of all four companies is Nadiia Petruchenko. Together with Roman Petruchenko, she co-founded SPP Development Ukraine, a Ukrainian group specializing in renewable energy and energy infrastructure.
The company provides development, engineering, construction, project management (EPC), and operation and maintenance (O&M) services. The CEO of SPP Development Ukraine, Roman Petrichenko, also serves as executive director of the Ukrainian branch of the Saudi company FAS Energy (KSA).
