Since the beginning of 2023, banks have issued 24 thousand loans to businesses under the 'Affordable Loans 5-7-9%' programme, totaling over 90 billion UAH. In the past week alone, 509 entrepreneurs received accessible loans amounting to 2.8 billion UAH. Since the inception of the program in February 2020, a total of 77 thousand loans have been granted, totaling 256 billion UAH.

Entrepreneurs predominantly sought crisis-related loans (60 billion UAH) and loans for anti-war purposes (54 billion UAH). Refinancing of previously obtained loans accounted for 28 billion UAH, working capital replenishment received 44.3 billion UAH, and loans for investment purposes reached 21.2 billion UAH. Additionally, the agricultural sector obtained 36.1 billion UAH to support its activities, while trading companies secured 4.8 billion UAH for working capital.

Businesses in the following sectors received the most loans under the program:

  • Agriculture (50%)
  • Wholesale and retail trade (26%)
  • Manufacturing industry (15%)

Leading regions in terms of the sums of concluded credit agreements include Lviv, Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Vinnytsia regions, and Kyiv city.

Currently, 45 banks are participating in the program, with the highest number of loans issued by 'Privatbank' (35.3 thousand), 'Oschadbank' (11.5 thousand), and 'Raiffeisen Bank Aval' (5.4 thousand).
