Ukrainian Security Service has gathered evidence against two more senior Russian military officials who committed war crimes against the civilian population of Ukraine.

They are:

Vice Admiral Sergey Pinchuk, the First Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy.

Major General Oleg Pchela, the Deputy Commander of Long-Range Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

Both officials ordered missile strikes on civilian and critical infrastructure in Ukraine.

According to the investigation, Oleg Pchela and Sergey Pinchuk were among the organizers of massive missile strikes on Ukraine from October 10, 2022, to January 2023.

During this time, the Russian forces launched dozens of cruise missiles of air and sea-based types, such as Kh-101, 3M14 "Caliber," and supersonic missile Kh-22, at objects of Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

As a result of Russian attacks, more than 50 civilians were killed, and over 110 sustained serious injuries. Among the casualties and hospitalized were minors.

According to available information, Sergey Pinchuk also ordered the mining of the sea route from the Bosporus to Odessa to block the "grain corridor." This Russian admiral personally commanded the shelling of port infrastructure and coastal facilities of Ukraine's agricultural sector.

Thus, the Russians hoped to disrupt the export of Ukrainian agricultural products and destroy the logistical centers for their transportation and storage.

Comprehensive measures are being taken to hold both perpetrators accountable for committing other crimes against our state.

The investigation is being conducted under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
