Sweden is providing Ukraine with a civil assistance package worth 1.1 billion Swedish kronor (over €100.3 million) to help meet urgent needs during the winter.

This was reported by Sweden Herald, citing the Swedish government.

"These attacks have intensified in recent weeks. As temperatures now begin to fall, this risks becoming the worst winter since 2022,"  says Minister of International Development Cooperation Benjamin Dousa (M) to Göteborgs-Posten.

The funds will be directed to support Ukrainian municipalities in repairing and constructing infrastructure with consideration for environmental standards, assisting in meeting Ukraine’s energy needs during the winter, and strengthening the country’s capacity to provide public services.
