The "Comprehensive Winter Package" from Sweden to Ukraine, amounting to 1.4 billion Swedish kronor, will be directed towards electricity, heating, housing, and healthcare, as reported by Sweden Postsen.

During a press conference, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and Development Minister Johan Forssell presented a comprehensive winter humanitarian aid package for Ukraine.

"This is a comprehensive winter package," said Kristersson.

The 1.4 billion Swedish kronor are taken from the aid budget, with 900 million kronor going to the World Bank's Ukraine Reconstruction Fund. The fund supports Ukraine's central infrastructure in the areas of energy, housing, healthcare, and transportation.

According to the Swedish government, heating equipment and capacity transmission in the Ukrainian power grid are crucial for the country's population in winter. An additional 300 million kronor will go to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's Environmental and Energy Fund, 100 million kronor will be distributed through the UN Food Program, 75 million kronor will be allocated to UNESCO for the construction of shelters in schools and preschools, and 25 million kronor will be distributed through the Agency for Community Protection and Readiness.
