The head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Serhii Borzov, said that Switzerland and Israel would help rebuild the Officers' House, which was damaged by a Russian missile strike on July 14. The representatives of the Embassies of the respective countries in Ukraine gave their consent.

He emphasized that the building is completely destroyed and dangerous, so it should be completely demolished. Also, the government representatives will appeal to the leading architects of Vinnytsia so that "everyone offers opinions and visions not only for the Officers' House but also for the city square."

"We will never accept it, we did not accept it yesterday or today, and it will not be accepted tomorrow. I want to thank the leaders of the city and region for your immediate reaction to the events that took place. Because, without the appropriate response, the appropriate response of the relevant services, the number of victims there would be much higher. For now, we have to do everything we can to help you rebuild. I know that these works have already started, and I think that you will provide the relevant information, and we will be able to accelerate what is already happening.", says Ambassador of Switzerland Claude Wild.

Ambassador of Israel Mykhailo Brodsky noted that the Israelis are in solidarity with the Ukrainians, because they well understand the horrors that the people of Ukraine are going through.

"My first visit to Vinnytsia took place in January of this year - just one month before the start of a full-scale war. Then we discussed the situation - everyone was very worried, but at that time, no one could even imagine that the missiles would actually hit the big cities of Ukraine: Vinnytsia, Kyiv… I am extremely unpleasant that the second visit to Vinnytsia is taking place under such difficult conditions. In Israel, we understand very well what the people of Ukraine are going through because our people, our citizens, and our children are also suffering a lot due to rocket attacks. I am convinced that Ukrainians now understand Israelis much better. We want to once again express our words of support as a sign of solidarity, and I am sure that we will be able to do everything to rebuild Ukraine and your city," said Ambassador of Israel Mykhailo Brodsky.

It will be recalled that the head of Vinnytsia Military Administration Serhii Borzov, announced that the Officers' House, which was hit by a Russian Kalibr missile on July 14, will not be demolished entirely. Repair crews only dismantle emergency structures.
