Ukrainian forces have achieved some tactical success on the Kupyansk and Lyman fronts. However, the situation remains tense with heavy fighting on other sections of the front.

This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, on Telegram.

As stated by the Commander-in-Chief, the Russian forces is attempting to advance towards the border of Donetsk region, utilizing air superiority, missiles, and artillery ammunition. Russian forces are conducting offensive actions with armored vehicles both during the day and at night. In certain directions, invaders are attempting storming operations on foot, in waves ranging from squads to companies, and sometimes battalions.

"The situation is particularly complex on the Bahmut direction in the areas east of Chasiv Yar and Klishchiivka; on the Avdiivka direction in the areas of Berdychiv, Orlivka, Vodiane, and Pervomaiske; on the Novopavlivka direction in the area of Novomykhailivka," said Syrskyi.

He emphasized that Chasiv Yar remains under the control of Ukrainian Armed Forces, with the Russia's attempts to break through to the city being unsuccessful.

On the Lyman, Orikhiv, and Kherson fronts, the situation also remains tense. In the area of Krynky on the left bank of the Dnipro River, the Russian forces are attempting to displace our troops from the bridgehead.

"At the same time, we have achieved some tactical success on the Kupyansk and Lyman fronts," stated the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
