The 4th season of Ukrainian Design Week will take place in Kyiv from April 28 to May 4, 2025.

"Metamorphoses: The Art of Change and Deep Transformation is the theme of the 4th season of UDIW. The world is constantly transforming under the influence of time, culture, and ideas. But metamorphoses are not just changes; they are essential transformations that define eras in design, art, and creativity. This concept originates from Ovid's eponymous poem — the most extensive in Roman literature. Through myths and legends, the poet explored the world and human nature. Contemporary metamorphoses, just like those with a millennia-long history, show the inseparable connection between the past and the present. This is the fundamental principle of change that shapes our reality — the era of 2025," say the event organizers.

This year's flagship event is the Design Hall exhibition, which will take place at the Mystetskyi Arsenal. This is already the third such event within the framework of UDIW.

This time, the format will change – instead of a market, there will be a large exhibition spanning 4000 m², according to organizers Anatolii and Kateryna Roskovshenko. Visitors will be shown works from various fields: furniture, interior solutions, lighting, decor, and contemporary art.

In addition to the exhibition, a lecture hall will operate at the location. It will consist of four thematic blocks discussing trends and issues in design, with the participation of industry experts.

Alongside Design Hall, UDIW will cover various districts of Kyiv. The program includes open lectures, presentations, workshops, tours, and other events related to design in its broadest sense. The “Interesting Locations of Kyiv” project will also continue, serving as a guide to unconventional places: galleries, bars, cafes, showrooms, and workshops.

The Ukrainian Design Week is part of the global dialogue on innovation, creativity, and new trends in the field of design.
