The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed more than 40 Russian invaders and 4 units of anti-aircraft weapons on the occupied Snake (Zmiinyi) Island.

This is stated in the Operational Command "South" message in the social network Facebook.

"Three anti-aircraft installations, the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system, and a communication machine - a server room with telecommunications equipment, were destroyed by another attack on enemy targets on Snake Island," the statement said.

Also, hostilities continue in the Mykolaiv-Kherson direction. Having no advancing activity, the enemy entrenched himself in position and continued artillery and mortar attacks.

"With new attempts to reconnoiter the drone situation, the enemy lost 2 more Orlan-10s in the Mykolaiv region. The hits of our units were devastating," the statement said.

"In the Kherson region, our soldiers destroyed the enemy electronic warfare station Reppelent-1 with artillery fire," the statement said.

After another strike by the Ukrainian military on the Snake Island in the Black Sea, the activation of the forces of the enemy fleet was recorded.

This was announced by the speaker of the operational command "South" Vladislav Nazarov.

“Meanwhile, the enemy fleet forces were activated at sea. After we delivered another strike on Snake Island with Raptor-type landing speed boats, the enemy tried to evacuate and replenish the personnel of his units that remain on the island,” he said.

Nazarov noted that the rest of the ships and the submarine continue to pose a high-level threat of a missile attack on the territory of Ukraine.
