Natalia Humenyuk said that the situation remains quite complicated.
As soon as the Russian propagandists screamed about the "terrible offensive, " the invaders immediately moved to Zaporizhzhia. But this turned out to be only an image of the offensive and an attempt to test the strength of our positions.
The situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction was described in detail by the head of the Joint Coordinating Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Natalia Humenyuk.
"The situation remains quite complicated, but it is being stabilized by the defense forces and counter-battery counteraction, which continues both from one side and the other at the moment and is the main way to fight the invaders," the speaker said.
She also told how the enemy's tactics had changed since there were âstuffingsâ into the information space, that there would be some kind of enemy offensive right now.
"There has not been a critical change, but there are some deviations from the usual defensive conduct of hostilities, which the enemy was characterized before. They are trying to test the depth of our defense and the strength of positions in different directions, and to a greater extent, depict movement forward. The front line remains stable and flexible is determined only by the short-term conduct of such assault actions by the invaders. They are trying in groups of 10-15 people to check the possibility by land (in the Zaporizhzhia direction specifically) regarding penetration into the rear of our positions, but each time they receive a worthy rebuff and return to their line of defense," - added Humenyuk.
