The Committee on Legal Affairs of the Georgian Parliament swiftly supported the controversial bill on "foreign agents" in its third reading.
This was reported by NewsGeorgia.
It is noted that it took the deputies only 1 minute and 7 seconds to do so.
"There were no questions or comments from those present, none at all. That was the end of the meeting. For this minute and 7 seconds, clashes between the police and demonstrators have been ongoing in front of the parliament since seven in the morning," the statement said.
It is known that tomorrow, May 14th, the bill will be brought to a vote at the plenary session.
