The Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down 81 Russian drones, with another 31 lost in location.

From 19:00 on Thursday, February 6, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using 112 strike drones, including Shahed UAVs and various types of decoy drones, from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Bryansk, and Shatalovo.
The aerial assault was countered by aviation, air defense missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine. As of 09:00 on Friday, February 7, 81 drones were confirmed shot down over the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Odesa regions.
31 decoy drones were lost in location (without negative consequences).
As a result of the attack, damage was reported in the Sumy, Kyiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions.
