In January 2025, the Export Credit Agency (ECA) supported Ukrainian exports by 1.31 billion UAH, which is double the amount for the entire first quarter of the previous year. This was reported by Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko.

"One of the key directions of the 'Made in Ukraine' policy is the support and development of non-resource exports. Thanks to cooperation with the ECA, Ukrainian exporters reduce their risks and gain access to more affordable financing, which allows them to increase sales volumes abroad. It’s important that such cooperation is expanding, and every hryvnia of insurance responsibility is converted into almost 14 UAH of future export revenue," Svyrydenko emphasized.

In January 2025, export credits were insured by CreditWest Bank, PUMB, and Oschadbank. The majority of users were entrepreneurs from the Khmelnytskyi, Zaporizhzhia regions, and Kyiv. These companies manufacture furniture, processed grain and flour products, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and dairy products. Their goods are exported to 17 countries, including Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, the UAE, and Romania.

In 2024, the ECA supported 7.53 billion UAH in Ukrainian exports.

The tools provided by the Export Credit Agency are an essential part of the 'Made in Ukraine' policy, which aims to support non-resource exports, develop industries, and attract investments to the real sector.
