The Financial and Analytical Department (FAD) has already seized the assets of the family of Russian oligarch Boris Obnosov in the Czech Republic, as reported by the website čt24.cz. These assets include, among other things, 14 apartments registered under his son-in-law Rostislav Zorikov's name. Officials have also frozen his share in his Czech company. This is a response to the government's decision to include Obnosov and Zorikov in the national sanctions list.

Boris Obnosov is a Doctor of Technical Sciences and a former official of the KGB of the USSR and the FSB of the Russian Federation. He is an active member of the Russian Academy of Missile and Artillery Sciences. He serves as the CEO of JSC "Corporation Tactical Missile Armament" and is a retired Major General of the FSB.

Currently, after the FAD's decision, Rostislav Zorikov cannot sell or transfer two apartments in an elite complex in Prague's Barrandov and 12 apartments in a building in Žižkov, which Zorikov, as indicated in the real estate cadastre, owns as an individual. This is where the companies he founded in the Czech Republic are based. Zorikov's father-in-law, Boris Obnosov, heads the Russian arms holding company KTRV.

"He personally gives private advice to Vladimir Putin on missile matters, and he is often seen in the Kremlin," said Maria Pevchikh.

The family's assets in the Czech Republic are estimated to be worth more than one hundred million crowns (over 4 million euros) – the largest share is owned by Obnosov's son-in-law Rostislav Zorikov. According to the law, inclusion in the national sanctions list can be challenged in court. The Municipal Court of Prague will make a decision on this case in the first instance

Boris Obnosov, as the CEO of JSC "Corporation Tactical Missile Armament," specializing in the production of missiles for the Armed Forces of Russia, has been subjected to sanctions by several countries following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

On August 9, 2022, he was added to the United Kingdom's sanctions list. On March 24, 2022, he was included in the U.S. sanctions list against Russia's defense-industrial complex.

On May 3, 2022, he was added to Canada's sanctions list as a "close associate of the regime" for his "involvement in Putin's decision to invade a peaceful and sovereign country."

On April 6, 2022, he was added to Australia's sanctions list. On June 24, 2022, he was included in Ukraine's sanctions list. On October 12, 2022, he was added to New Zealand's sanctions list.

On August 16, 2023, the Czech Republic imposed sanctions against Boris Obnosov. His daughter Olga Zorikova and son-in-law Rostislav Zorikov were also sanctioned for engaging in "activities that violate or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence of Ukraine."
