As part of the second Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, the First Lady, Olena Zelenska, announced an ambulance fundraiser. As of today, more than 220 million hryvnias has been raised. Citizens from 51 countries have joined the fundraiser via UNITED24. The largest donations came from Ukraine, the US, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Australia and Canada.

The fundraiser is also supported by large Ukrainian businesses: Epicenter K, ОККО, Prom.ua, MHP and Freedom Finance, as well as the international pharmaceutical company, AstraZeneca. 

Thanks to this, the Ministry of Health has already purchased 24 C-type ambulance vehicles. Their cost amounted to 52.80 million UAH.

These vehicles are equipped with everything required to transport the severely injured to hospital: oxygen tanks, cardiomonitors, defibrillators, electrocardiographs, and ALV devices. 

Soon, they will be utilized by emergency medical care facilities in 7 region: Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Rivne, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Odessa.
