The first exhibition of panoramic war photos titled "Here Was My Home" as part of the project 360war.in.ua will be showcased in Lviv from March 19 to April 17, 2024. The opening will take place on Tuesday, March 19, at 7:00 PM.

The exhibition will feature photos depicting the aftermath of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in VR format and panoramic photography "in 360 degrees," say the authors Dmitro Malyshev and Taras Volianyuk. They captured images in Kyiv during its liberation, as well as in Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Donetsk regions.

According to them, the 360war.in.ua project, under which the exhibition will take place, is "the first and largest project in Ukraine for digitally documenting the consequences of Russian aggression in the format of panoramic photography and virtual reality."

Within the exhibition, three floors of the exposition will be created, each representing a different stage, says curator Angelina Yefymenko. The first floor will remind visitors of the overall chronology of the invasion and its consequences – loss of homes, emigration, and its impact on the world. The second floor will focus on the destruction of places important to every person: beloved parks, kindergartens, schools, cultural centers, and public spaces.

A separate part of the exhibition will be dedicated to the "Mriya" airplane. The third floor, with panoramas taken from inside the destroyed houses, will tell the story of lost homes, apartments, and dwellings.

QR codes will be placed next to the photos, allowing visitors to view digital panoramas on the website. There will also be an opportunity to see the photos through VR goggles.

The largest collection of photos in this format in the country can already be viewed online at the following link – it includes over one and a half thousand images. The project authors also plan to create panoramic videos.
