Ukrainian diplomats, together with the French government and the federation of French industrialists MEDEF, agreed on the transfer to Ukraine of 36 prefabricated bridges with a length of 23 to 46 meters from the Matiere company.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba said this during an online briefing on Wednesday, July 13.

We encourage foreign companies to participate in reconstructing the Ukrainian infrastructure destroyed by Russia actively. The bridge structures of the French company Matiere will be able to replace the destroyed Ukrainian bridges quickly and later replace them permanently

The minister emphasized that the French company Matiere has many years of experience in the rapid deployment of bridge crossings for road and rail transport, especially in countries where the war destroyed the infrastructure.

As early as July 25, the company's engineers will arrive in Ukraine and conduct a joint assessment mission with Ukravtodor engineers. The company is interested in cooperation with Ukrainian contractors and is potentially considering deploying the production of these bridge crossings in Ukraine

Dmytro Kuleba emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is interested in assisting this company and any other business that wants to come to Ukraine and open production or solve one or another problem.

The minister expressed his gratitude for this important result to the diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Ukraine in France, as well as the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Digital and Industrial Sovereignty, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, the federation of French industrialists MEDEF.
