On Monday, a meeting of European leaders will take place in Paris at the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss security issues. This was confirmed by France's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, during an interview on France Inter.
"The President of the Republic will gather key European countries tomorrow to discuss European security," said Barrot.
He did not specify which countries would participate in the meeting.
The French Foreign Minister also emphasized that Europeans "will be involved in discussions on ending the war in Ukraine."
Earlier, Ukrainian diplomatic sources informed Ukrinform that President Volodymyr Zelensky will not attend this meeting. It will take place in the format of the "Weimar Triangle ++" (France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, and several other European countries).
