The head of the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, who ran her first half-marathon to raise funds for drones for Ukraine, announced on Tuesday morning that they had already managed to raise 13,500 euros, and the amount continues to grow.

She wrote about this on the X network (Twitter).

The minister called for further support for the fundraising.

"We have now raised 13,500 EUR for drones for Ukraine! I’m beyond grateful to all who supported. We will be grateful for further donations," BrazÌŒe wrote.

Just after her post, the fundraising amount exceeded 14,000 euros.

The collection for drones on the Ziedot platform is carried out in cooperation with the Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia.
