The Ministry of Education and Science signed a memorandum of cooperation with the charitable foundation of the Parimatch company, and reports the press service of the Ministry.
Together they plan to launch the Active Youth digital platform.
For the second year in a row, the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Foundation have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The key goal is to increase the competencies of pedagogical workers, in particular physical education workers, to improve the methods of their work with students, especially children with special educational needs.
“The signing of the memorandum opens up additional opportunities for the development of inclusive resource centers, increasing the effectiveness of the quality of education, in particular by modernizing educational institutions, implementing the organization of the educational process using the latest technologies. Currently, the Ministry of Education and Culture and the international charity Parimatch Foundation are preparing to present the digital platform “Active Youth”, the development of which they have been engaged for almost a year. This joint project aims to develop physical culture and sports in educational institutions thanks to improving the organization of sports events and forming reports, results, and ratings from sports competitions. This will greatly simplify the work of physical education specialists and trainers and will also help make the development of physical education in Ukraine visible,” said Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet.
Parimatch Foundation has been working in education, sports, and socialization for over three years. The Foundation supports educational institutions of Ukraine and physical education teachers, creating conditions for children to play sports, both in physical education classes and outside of them. The international charitable foundation takes care of children, revealing their potential through sports. In its activities, the Foundation pays special attention to educational products designed to help teachers, educational managers, parents and guardians acquire the necessary tools that will help make helpful physical education, interesting, inclusive and effective for children. Thanks to courses and webinars, teachers develop professional skills to make lessons even more exciting and their content more diverse. This approach allows even more children to be involved in physical and motor activity.
Implementing joint projects with the Ministry of Education and Science will significantly increase the number of educational programs and other activities for pedagogical workers, specialists of inclusive resource centers aimed at increasing motivation and introducing new teaching methods.
