On September 24, the art space Module of Temporality (MOT) in collaboration with the French auction house Tajan will hold a charity auction to support Ukrainian art institutions damaged by Russian aggression.

This is the final stage of the "Temporality" exhibition, which opened at MOT in February 2023 and has traveled to various cities in Ukraine over the past year. The auction will feature works by 23 artists who were part of the space's first exhibition in 2023.

About the Works

The auction will offer 26 works by both international and Ukrainian artists for sale.

Among the items at Tajan will be a portrait of Ukrainian activist Serhiy Nighoyan by Portuguese artist Vhils, a print featuring the Ukrainian flag and a peace symbol by French street artist Zevs, one of the embroideries from the "Alarm" series by Zhanna Kadyrova, a print titled "I Was Not Born to Submit" by French artist Tania Muro, a work by Soundwalk Collective co-founder Stefan Krasnyanski, as well as prints by Ukrainian artists Volodymyr WaOne Manzhos, Oleksii Sai, and Oleksii Kondakov, and French-American artist Prun Nurry.

Also, Swiss artist Thomas Hirschhorn, who visited Kharkiv in August 2024 and participated in the "YermilovCentre" exhibition, has provided one of his installations for sale. Also among the auction lots are paintings and installations by Pierre Ardouvin, Gisèle Bertrand, Catherine Boissel, Anne-Flore Cabanis, Philippe Cognée, Noël Dolla, Nikita Kravtsov, Roman Minin, and Lionel Sabatté.

Sculptures featured at the auction will include works by American artist Mark Jenkins, Ukrainian artist Maria Kulikovska, Indian artist Subodh Gupta, and Algerian artist Adel Abdessemed. The auction lots have been provided by the artists themselves as well as galleries from France and the USA, including Galleria Continua, TEMPLON, Danysz Gallery, Praz-Delavallade, Galerie Papillon, Galerie Ceysson & Bénétière, and Sapar Contemporary.

How to Participate in the Auction

You can view the lots and register for the auction online on the Tajan website. All works are currently at the auction house, where they can also be seen in person.

The auction will take place on September 24 at the Tajan auction house in Paris, located at 37 rue des Mathurins, starting at 5:00 PM.
