The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), for the first time in history, has set the official exchange rate of the dollar above 37 hryvnias. It's worth noting that the unofficial exchange rate was significantly higher in the fall of 2022, reaching up to 43 hryvnias.
On December 14, 2023, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia at 37.0245 UAH per $1 (+0.0384 UAH). The official exchange rate for the euro on the same date was set at 39.9217 UAH.
