As a result of the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to counter the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, the logistic capabilities of the aggressor country's fleet in providing missile armament have significantly decreased. During the massed strikes on December 29 and January 2, surface and submarine missile carriers were not used.

This information was provided by the spokesperson for the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Captain 3rd Rank Dmytro Pletenchuk.

According to Captain Pletenchuk, as of this morning, no enemy missile carriers were detected in the Black Sea waters, despite favorable weather conditions for the ships to operate.

In this context, the representative of the Naval Forces clarified that on January 3 in the morning, there were 2 ships in the Black Sea and 1 in the Azov Sea, but they were not missile carriers.

"Regarding the participation of these units (in the shelling), first of all, they are experiencing problems with logistical support," emphasized Pletenchuk.

He pointed out that the military-naval base with missile armament for the fleet of Russian occupiers is located in Sevastopol.

"Even if they were to move it to Novorossiysk, as of now, there is no confirmed information that they have moved equipment capable of loading these cruise missiles onto carriers there," said Pletenchuk.

The spokesperson explained that this could be the main reason, which became "a consequence of the resistance from the side of the Defense and Security Forces to the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation" in the Black Sea waters.
