The Netherlands has announced a new support package for Ukraine amounting to €209.5 million, aimed at restoring critical infrastructure, according to Dutch Foreign Minister Kaspar Velkcamp.
"The Netherlands has announced a new support package of €209.5 million aimed at restoring critical infrastructure, including through the EBRD, and providing humanitarian aid. We are contributing €45 million to the Fund for the Support of Ukraine's Energy Sector and financing the supply of essential equipment," the minister wrote on social media after the G7+ ministerial meeting in New York.
Velkcamp also stated that Ukrainians are preparing for one of the harshest winters, and for Ukraine to endure, it needs energy.
"At today's meeting with G7 Foreign Ministers and partners, including Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, I stressed that we must join forces to provide this," the minister noted.
