At the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group on Wednesday, February 12, the Netherlands announced new military aid to Kyiv – armored tracked vehicles for evacuating the wounded.

This was reported by the Dutch Ministry of Defense.

Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brakelmans stated at the 'Ramstein' meeting that Ukraine would receive 25 YPR armored tracked vehicles for transporting the wounded.

The Minister also mentioned that the Netherlands had delivered the last promised T-72 battle tanks to Ukraine in cooperation with the Czech Republic and the USA.

Minister Brekelmans: "We are approaching the sad milestone of 3 years of large-scale Russian aggression in Ukraine. For 3 years, Ukrainians have been tirelessly fighting for their future. And thus also for our freedom and security. The Netherlands has committed more than €10 billion in military aid. Of this, approximately €6 billion has been realized. Now, as the Ukrainians are struggling on the front lines, we must continue our support without hesitation. Peace with Russia is only possible through military strength."
