The head of the Zaporizhzhia Military administration, Alexander Starukh, said that the Russian occupiers used Melitopol as a logistics hub and pulled manpower to the Zaporizhzhia direction.
On the air of the Espresso TV channel, he also noted that the Russian invaders continued their filtration measures in the occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.
"In the occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, the enemy continues filtration measures, makes raids, and restricts the ability of people to leave. The Russians have closed the exit from the territory. They use social institutions to accommodate the military and make life difficult for civilians," Starukh said.
According to the head of the military administration, the occupiers also continue to use Melitopol as a transport hub to transfer their troops, forces, and means.
"A large number of various occupation services are concentrated there. The enemy is building up manpower in the Zaporizhzhia direction. Columns with weapons and equipment are coming from the east. The Zaporizhzhia region is large, the enemy is carrying out rotational activities in some directions, and the Russians are strengthening on the border with the Donetsk region," Starukh emphasized.
