President of Slovakia Zuzana ÄŒaputová has spoken out against providing a new package of military aid to Ukraine following the parliamentary elections, in which the anti-Ukraine party Smer-SD, led by former Prime Minister Robert Fico, emerged victorious.

It has been revealed that the Slovak Ministry of Defense is considering the possibility of offering Ukraine another package of military aid. This aid could have been provided during the tenure of the technocratic government led by Ludovit Odor, but President Zuzana ÄŒaputová, who is politically responsible for the cabinet of ministers, opposes such a plan.
In a comment to Dennik N, ÄŒaputová's spokesperson Martin Strižinec explained that she is "respecting the results of democratic elections," as the winning party, Smer-SD, had promised its voters to "not give Ukraine a single bullet."
The President of Slovakia believes that ignoring this position of Smer-SD and "certain other" parties would "set an unfortunate precedent for the future."
