President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received letters of credence from the newly appointed Ambassadors of three countries to Ukraine: Ambassador of China Ma Shengkun, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Barakah, and Ambassador of Serbia Andon Sapundzi.

The Head of State congratulated the Ambassadors on the start of their diplomatic mission in Ukraine and expressed hope for the enhancement of cooperation between the countries.

During his meeting with the Chinese Ambassador, Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked him for supporting Ukraine's territorial integrity and emphasized the importance of developing bilateral relations, especially in trade.

“Before the war, Ukraine and China had a large volume of trade. Of course, we want it to be restored and our relations to be stronger in more areas,” the President added.

The Head of State also spoke about North Korea's involvement in the war against Ukraine and noted that our state counts on a strong voice of China.

In the conversation with the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, the Head of State expressed his gratitude for the energy and humanitarian assistance, noting in particular the country's role in the release of prisoners of war and the return of Ukrainian children deported by Russia.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also spoke about the need to restore energy infrastructure.

While speaking with the Ambassador of Serbia, the President thanked him for financial and humanitarian assistance and noted the importance of regular dialogue with Aleksandar Vučić.

“Alexander has supported us in a goal that is truly important to us – the swiftest possible approach to peace. We look forward to continued military support,” the Head of State said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also commended the contacts between the First Ladies of Ukraine and Serbia. According to the President, this is not just an example of soft power, but also a concrete focus on practical humanitarian issues.
