The price of a cup of coffee in Ukraine has increased by 11% over the past year

In 2024, the average price for a cup of espresso in Ukraine was 31 UAH, an 11% increase compared to 2023, according to the Espresso Index.

The most expensive coffee was found in the Odessa region, while the cheapest was in the Khmelnytskyi and Sumy regions.

Since the start of the full-scale war, espresso prices in Ukraine have risen 1.7 times, from 19 UAH in 2021 to 33 UAH by the end of 2024.

 

 

As of late December, the Odessa region continued to lead with the highest espresso price, at 40 UAH per cup, a 20% rise over the year. Lviv followed with 39 UAH, and Volyn came in third with 37 UAH per cup.

The lowest espresso prices remained unchanged for two years in the Khmelnytskyi and Sumy regions, at 28 UAH per cup.

The steepest price increase, 29%, was recorded in the Vinnytsia region, where a cup now costs 31 UAH. Meanwhile, prices in the Kharkiv region remained steady at 34 UAH per cup.
