The nationwide RECOVERY network, founded by Viktor and Olena Pinchuk, has opened its 16th rehabilitation center in Chernihiv.
“We are opening our 16th RECOVERY center, but in some cases, we have expanded existing facilities, meaning we have actually opened rehabilitation centers 20 times. These centers operate effectively, having already helped over 22,000 heroes. At full capacity, we will be able to rehabilitate 26,000 service members annually,” said Pinchuk.
The Chernihiv center will provide free rehabilitation services to over 1,000 military personnel per year. It is equipped according to global standards for technology and inclusivity, offering innovative training devices and equipment that cover a wide range of functional impairments, including gunshot wounds and blast injuries.
The physical rehabilitation rooms feature virtual reality equipment that provides real-time feedback to patients. The entire center is fully accessible, with specialized zones for physiotherapy, laser therapy, assistive technology, psychological support, speech therapy, and massage. The inpatient department has 12 rooms with 45 beds, furnished for comfort and ease of movement.
RECOVERY centers also operate in Kyiv (two centers), Lviv, Chernivtsi, Rivne, Lutsk, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Odesa (two centers), and Dnipropetrovsk region (three centers).
