The new Rheinmetall plant will be located in the town of Baisogala, in the Radviliškis district of Lithuania.
"The plant will begin operations in mid-2026, and after construction is completed, it will be capable of producing tens of thousands of 155-mm artillery shells annually," Rheinmetall representatives said on Friday.
