Russian forces have intensified assault operations in the Kharkiv direction but have not achieved any success.
This was reported by Major Viktor Trehubov, spokesperson for the operational-strategic grouping of troops Khortytsia.
"The enemy has increased assault activity in the Kharkiv direction, including conducting reconnaissance-in-force towards Kudiivka and Vysoka Yaruha. They attacked our units’ positions in Vovchansk, but without success. Using a vehicle and six motorcycles, the enemy advanced near Hlyboke. Our defenders destroyed all the equipment along with the personnel," said Trehubov.
According to him, in the Kupiansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled Russian assaults near Putnykove, Novosynove, Nova Kruhliakivka, Bohuslavka, and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops attempted to improve their tactical position near the settlements of Olhivka, Ridkodub, Novyi Myr, and Zelena Dolyna. Ukrainian defenders repelled all attacks.
Attempts to attack Ukrainian positions in the Serebrianske forestry also failed.
Trehubov noted that offensive actions by the Russian troops near Hryhorivka and Verkhniokamianske in the Siversk direction were neutralized.
In the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, the Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions near Predtechyne, Deliivka, Malynivka, Zoria, Nova Poltavka, Chasiv Yar, and Toretsk. The Russian troops did not succeed, the spokesperson emphasized.
In addition, a Russian tank and two motorcycles trying to attack Defense Forces' positions near Stara Mykolaivka were destroyed.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian forces unsuccessfully stormed Ukrainian defensive fortifications near Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Sukhyi Yar, Novoukrainka, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Novosergiivka, Oleksiivka, Novomykolaivka, Muravka, Lysivka, Novotoretske, Troitske, and Andriivka. Ukrainian positions held firm. A vehicle and four motorcycles were destroyed near Myroliubivka.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Russian forces attempted to dislodge Ukrainian defenders near Bahatyr and Kostiantynopil, Trehubov reported.
