Over the past day, Russian forces concentrated their main efforts on the Pokrovsk direction, with Defense Forces destroying the Russian forces that have a numerical advantage, according to the operational report of the Khortytsia military group.
"During the past day, the main offensive efforts of the enemy were focused on the Pokrovsk direction," the report from Khortytsia operational-strategic group stated on Telegram on Tuesday.
It was reported that the Russian troops are conducting offensive actions primarily without the use of armored vehicles in the areas of the settlements of Zelenе Pole, Baranivka, Tarasivka, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Sukhy Yar, Zelenе, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Nadiivka, Yaseneve, Slovianskа, Petropavlivka, Dachne, Kurakhove, and Yantarnе. Fighting continues in Lysivka, Novovasylivka, and Shevchenkivka.
"The Defense Forces are resisting the Russia's attempts to capitalize on its numerical superiority and continue the offensive. Measures are being taken to prevent worsening the tactical situation," the report noted.
It was also reported that Russian assault groups attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Vovchansk on the Kharkiv direction and in the areas of Zahrizivka, Zelenyi Hay, and Dvorichna on the Kupiansk direction.
"The attacks were repelled, the enemy suffered losses and retreated," the report stated.
On the Lyman direction, Russians stormed the defense positions in the areas of Kopanky, Novosergiyivka, Terny, and Makiivka, without success.
"On the Sever direction, enemy assault groups unsuccessfully attempted to attack the positions of the Defense Forces in Bilohorivka. For the movement of personnel to conduct offensive actions, the enemy used motorcycles. The enemy was destroyed on approach to the line of advance," Khortytsia operational-strategic group reported.
On the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, battles took place in Chasiv Yar, near Stupochky, Delyivka, and Toretsk. According to Khortytsia operational-strategic group, some Ukrainian positions were destroyed as a result of assault actions and shelling.
"Measures continue to localize and destroy the remnants of the Russian assault groups," the report said.
On the Novopavlivsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are resisting attacks in the areas of the settlements Uakli, Novyi Komar, Nesluchne, and Vremivka. The Russians continue to accumulate forces for further attacks.
