In Belgorod-Dniestrovsky, SBU officers reported suspicion to a pro-Russian blogger spreading Russian propaganda. It is reported by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odessa region.
A man may be charged with committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. These are “Justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants.” The punishment restricts liberty for up to five years or imprisonment for the same term, with possible confiscation of property.
According to the SBU investigation, the citizen of Ukraine actively distributed materials in his own account on the social network banned in Ukraine, which contained a denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. He also glorified those who carried out the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which began in 2014. A supporter of separatism disseminated materials from anti-Ukrainian communities and promoted the idea of a “Russian measure.”
While searching the propagandist’s smartphone and computer equipment, investigators found materials containing evidence of his illegal activities.
