On May 18, the SES received 85 unmanned aerial vehicles DJI Mavic 3 Fly More Combo. They will be used primarily to ensure measures to ensure the safe and secure operation of humanitarian corridors to evacuate the civilian population of Ukraine from areas of hostilities, as well as to investigate ecosystem fires, inspect emergency zones, support demining and other activities. in the field of activity of the Rescue Service.

This was made possible by the initiative of the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, which appealed to donors - international organizations to help the SES to obtain drones.

"Systematic work of the Ministry in this direction is carried out constantly because assistance to law enforcement agencies is one of our priorities today. We understand that all ministries are now working for victory, and we understand the importance of law enforcement agencies, which practically bring it closer," said Anatoliy Stelmakh, Deputy Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine. He added that rescuers, as people who work at no less risk than the military, must be technically equipped at the highest level.

In turn, the Deputy Head of the SES for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Roman Primush stressed that this event is a shining example of when all authorities unite for a common victory.

"Today, the State Emergency Service is modernizing its work on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, and such assistance is extremely important to us. These are, in particular, the issue of support of humanitarian corridors, inspection of mined areas, when we can safely, without involving units, identify mined areas, as well as monitoring fires in ecosystems," added the Deputy Head of the SES.
